Now hiring an LPN/RN for our outpatient family medicine practice.
Job Summary:
In search of friendly, positive, flexible nurse to work in a personalized, concierge medicine environment. Rekindle Family Medicine is a private practice, membership based family medicine office offering unprecedented access for patients and a high quality health care experience looking at the whole patient and all the aspects of their health. We are looking to hire an optimistic, kind, hard working nurse as a clinical and administrative support for the practice's primary physician.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years RN/LPN experience in outpatient office
Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with an Associates’ or Bachelor's degree in nursing
Unrestricted and current DE state nursing license
Current Basic Lifesaving Training (BLS) certification
Fluency in written and spoken English
Primary Responsibilities:
Clinical:
Accurately and efficiently check vitals and room patients
Perform EKGs
Followup on lab/imaging results and sharing normal results with patients
Venipuncture/phlebotomy and processing urine/blood/drug screen/pathology labs
Administer IV fluids, injectable medications, vaccines
Occasionally accompany the physician on home visits or on site visits for employers if necessary
Clinically advising patients within your scope of practice using clinical practice guidelines and evidence based medicine
Patient recall (reaching out to patients to remind them about visits, labs)
Run routine in house testing: urinalysis tests, pregnancy tests, strep tests, etc
Interact with marketing/drug representatives on behalf of the practice
HIPAA/OSHA compliance for individuals and the practice
Performs other duties as required
Clerical/Admin:
Set up appointments for patients as necessary, help teach them how to use the patient portal
Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and medications
Retrieve, sort prior medical records
Scan and process documents into medical record
Telephone and email triage (refills, information about the practice, appointments)
Front desk duties: check in, check out
Performs other duties as required
Optional:
Help manage social media/blog/Facebook site for the practice

Salary:
$22-28 hourly with opportunity for periodic merit based increases
Typical Hours: Mon/Wed/Friday 8:30-5:30 with 30 min lunch break; Tues/Thurs 8:30-4 with 30 min lunch break (total approx 40 hours a week)
