Dr. Kimberly Nalda was born in Baltimore, MD, graduated from Duke University and University of Maryland School of Medicine and was Chief Resident at Family Medicine Residency at St. Louis University. She has interests in women’s health, mental health, and is an encouraging cheerleader and problem solver for her patients. She is happily married to Ruben Nalda, who is prior military with service in both the Navy and the Air Force and is currently serving the VA Health system as the Chief of Emergency Medicine. Their family spent a decade moving every 3 years due to the military and training for both doctors. After spending time in St. Louis, MO, and Lexington, KY, the family finally relocated to Hockessin, DE where they are now firmly planted in the community. Dr. Nalda served as President of the PTA for CACC Montessori for two years and is currently part of Sycamore Hill Church. She has two amazing daughters and two dogs with very different personalities. In her spare time, she likes to cook, scrapbook, make T shirts, craft and make soap from scratch and can often be found belting out broadway ballads. 


Laura Brinkmeyer, Physician Assistant (PA), was born in Minneapolis, MN, where she spent her early years. Along with her parents and brothers, she moved to Oklahoma at age 9, and she stayed in the OKC metro area through the rest of her childhood and through her time at the University of Oklahoma, from which she earned a B.A. in English. She then spent time traveling and working internationally, which kindled in her a strong desire to pursue a career in Medicine. After returning to the United States, Laura spent several years in San Francisco, where she completed premedical studies while working and volunteering at a local children’s hospital. She relocated to southeast Pennsylvania and worked as an EMT in Newark, DE before attending graduate school. Laura earned her M.M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from Arcadia University. She previously worked as a Family Medicine PA for a small independent practice and at Tower Health Urgent Care. Her favorite part of her work as a healthcare provider is getting to know patients and their needs, and working with them over time to improve their health and wellbeing. She is a mother, and she also enjoys singing, gardening, baking, reading, drawing, and painting.


Diane Hollingshead, RN was born in Wilmington, DE and grew up in Newark. Diane graduated from Nursing school in 2001.  Her nursing experience extends from cardiac step down, long-term care, PACU as well as family medicine and pediatric medicine. She found her home at Rekindle Family Medicine in 2019 and enjoys building relationships with patients and the Rekindle family. Diane is a prior approval champion, spending significant time and effort to coordinate with insurance companies to achieve the testing and medications her patients require. She is excellent at phlebotomy and IV placement, easygoing and kind. She is relaxed with all her patients and unafraid to say what she thinks, diffusing and lightening situations with her sense of humor. Diane has a 20 year son who is a sophomore at UD and a 15 year old daughter who is a sophomore at Conrad School of Science. Diane is an active member of the Journey Church in Newark. In her free time she loves to volunteer and spend quality time with friends and family.


Debbie Siefer, MA was born in Scranton, PA and moved to Delaware when her father was transferred for his job.  Debbie graduated from Delaware Technical Community College in 1997 with an Associate Degree in Allied Health for Medical Assistant. Debbie worked for 8 years as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and these skills allow her to never panic under pressure and helped her develop her excellent phlebotomy skills. Debbie has been working as a medical assistant for 26 years and also manages the front desk at Rekindle. She is usually the first face patients see and always has a smile and an easy laugh. She is married to a wonderful husband and together they have 5 amazing kids and 5 wonderful grandchildren.  Debbie volunteers her time with the Special Olympics of Delaware as a Bocce Ball Coach with the Newark Dragons.  She loves to makes quilts, play card games and crochet hats for infants in the NICU.
